Welcome to Faithful Finance.
My name is Josh Meyer, and I’ve spent most of my adult life doing two things:
Teaching and preaching Scripture
Walking alongside people through real-life questions
For 17 years, I served as a pastor—opening the Bible every week, guiding conversations about faith, and helping people connect truth to life. I have a Doctorate in Biblical Studies because I love Scripture—not just to study it, but to help others live it out.
Now, I work with Everence, a faith-based financial services firm rooted in Anabaptist values. And the call on my life hasn’t changed. I’m still helping people connect faith and life—just with a different lens:
Your money. Your values. Your future. All working together.
Why This Site Exists
If you’ve ever wrestled with questions like:
How do I align my money with my faith?
Is it okay to earn more? What if I want to give more?
How do I live simply, give generously, and still plan for the future?
Can I trust God with my future and use good financial wisdom to make decisions?
…then you’re in the right place.
This platform is here to explore those intersections—where faith meets finance, calling meets compensation, and generosity becomes a way of life.
The Vision: Helping You ACE Your Finances
I believe people can move from anxiety & confusion to clarity & peace in their financial life. And I want to help you get there.
I use a simple framework called ACE:
Alignment — Are your financial decisions aligned with your values?
Confidence — Do you have clarity and peace about your financial future?
Empowerment — Are you free to live generously, with purpose and impact?
Faithful financial living isn’t pursing so much wealth that you lose sight of God…but it’s also not about being so frugal that you end up miserable. It’s about being Intentional. Discerning. Faithful. Wise.
Thanks for Being Here
If this sounds like something you want in your life, I’d love for you to subscribe and follow along. And if you know someone who’s wrestling with these same questions, feel free to share this with them.
We’re just getting started—but I believe this journey will be deeply meaningful.
Grace and peace,
Josh
